Winning a toss first Southerners CC invited Indorama CC to bat in a crucial Finals of B div in damp conditions as AIT had a midnight rain. Umpires and BCL officials with both team players did a fantastic job a start a full 25 overs match at 11 am. Indorama CC had a slow start scoring 51/2 in 11 overs. Later middle order batters gave a booster to much needed team and scored heavily, specially Govind played a good cameo of 22 runs and team posted a good total of 161 in designated 25 overs: A good challenging total was on the board and Southerners CC had to make sure they chase down this target. Southerners started an inning cautiously but looked like it was Indorama's day. Indorama bowlers took both the openers Javed and Venu very cheaply and then Matt and Andrew took the charge and tried to build Southos inning. Matt played a brilliant inning of 53 and as soon as he got out the whole team looked in trouble. Govind kept on getting breaks for Indorama and ended taking 4 crucial wkts for his site and Southos ended 26 runs short to chase in the finale of BCL B division. Govind Sodani was awarded POTM for his 22 runns inning and 4 wkts. Thanks to the all officials and the teams for conducting a great BCL B division 2023 season and making it possible.
