Bangkok Cricket League (BCL) Bangkok Cricket League is a professionally run league that has been operated under expert guidance since 2002. It has developed into a very challenging league, with a high quality of players with the numerous teams throughout the 3 grades played in Bangkok.
The Premier Division (50 Overs competition), A Division (25 Overs competition), B Division (25 Overs Competition) and CAT T20 Super League (20 Overs Competition) is played from November to June. The league is run voluntarily and independently by a dedicated group of people in Bangkok and is completely self-funded. The Bangkok Cricket League is the largest in the Kingdom of Thailand and is officially recognized by the SAT and the CAT.
Our Mission & Vision To foster and promote participation in the sport of cricket within the cricketers in Thailand; to provide facilities for playing cricket; and to provide opportunities for recreation and competition.
BCL will grow the sport by creating more opportunities for more people and nation to enjoy it and increase the competitiveness of cricket at all levels.
BCL also promote cricket by delivering exciting and engaging events, attracting new and diverse fans and building long-term successful commercial partnerships. And finally, we will continue to make considerable efforts to protect the integrity of the sport.
Goal of Sponsorship Running a Cricket League of our size comes at considerable cost. We are looking for alternative methods to connect with sports enthusiasts in a more meaningful way. This is where sponsorship shines and create personal experiences which combine the brand message, interactive elements and your audience in a live setting.
The League would include more than 30 clubs with the best available talents from their respective teams. As these teams would be organized and/or sponsored by cricket and community leaders, it would attract the attention of a fast-growing cricket community across the country. This would provide an excellent opportunity for league sponsors to reach out to a growing diaspora for promoting their brands, products and services.
We also understand that different businesses have particular needs and requirement, therefore we are able to develop a sponsorship package that meets these needs and that will provide value added service to your business.
Our League’s Award Function Night is a good example of the efforts we put into ensuring a positive image of our league. The night, which is planned to hold after season every year, is open to everybody. After dinner and the trophy presentation, entertainment that follows is free to anybody who would like to join us.
Our social days are also a very much “looked forward to” occasion. For this coming season we have planned a meet day & season end party.
We firmly believe that your association with league and the type of exposure we can offer your business will result in improved “good will” value to your business. In turn, this leads to a positive outlook for the community.
Types of Sponsorship
Sponsorship can be in different forms. First and foremost a League like us is in need of financial commitment from those businesses that choose to support us. However we realize that this is not always viable for every business and as such we are more than happy to consider alternative options likes;
